Claudine Fletcher

In 25 years as a professional speaker, Claudine Fletcher has helped to motivate more than a quarter million people to "make choices that will improve the quality of their lives."

During her career, Claudine has:

  • Motivated groups from a half dozen to more than five thousand;
  • Appeared in scores of radio and TV interviews;
  • Served as a national spokesperson for a Fortune 500 company;
  • Conducted workshops nationwide on motivation and self esteem;
  • Taught post-graduate university courses on time and stress management.

A survivor of a serious personal tragedy, Claudine has emerged as a special person with an inspiring story to tell. She has shared her experiences and philosophy with groups as divergent as educators, real estate and insurance executives, financial advisors, health care professionals, prisoners, military officers, corporate managers and volunteers.

The California native travels nationally in her work and has appeared on both local and national TV with such personalities as Phil Donahue and Joan Lunden.

Says Claudine, "My Dad was Irish and my Mom’s Italian...I guess I was destined to speak with my hands and heart, as well as my mouth." Claudine’s only formal speech training was a single high school course which became known as Claudine’s class in recognition of her early speaking prowess.

Claudine now often travels with her service dog, Tornado. "After 25 years I still love my work," she marvels. "Imagine getting paid for helping people to believe in themselves and make choices to improve their lives...what a great job."

Born in Vallejo, Northern California, Claudine was trained as a Registered Nurse at Seton Medical Center in San Francisco. She has two grown children and now lives with her husband in Concord, CA, where she was selected as the first woman member of the Rotary Club there.
